He'll get found out like Johnson was.

Nothing to do with his politics, just the self serving interest and the British public (most of which aren't on Twitter) turn quite very quickly.

It's going to very interesting if he wins Clacton and gets real political exposure for the first time.
I’m putting my money on the Doctor Who-a-like roasting the frog faced gammon in Clacton. I think the youth vote will be huge there.

It’ll be like going back in time to the 7 previous GE defeats for frog face.

One of Rishi Sunak’s close protection officers has been arrested over alleged bets about the timing of the election.

The officer was arrested on Monday on suspicion of misconduct in public office, the Metropolitan police said in a statement.

The Tories were happy enough when the likes of Sean Connery, The Bee Gees, Cilla, Bob Monkhouse, the actor who played Ken Barlow, Rod Hull (and Emu), Jimmy Savile, Ronnie Biggs and 'Mad' Frankie Fraser provided their endorsements. What's good for the goose....

Some of those endorsements seem more helpful than others tbh.

Particularly the Emu.

So why was the copper arrested but the Spad wasn’t?

Apparently there is a ‘small number’ of Rishi’s inner circle who had a flutter.

It’s the Sunak way. Make what you possibly can then get out. It’s not about service for this lot, it’s about grifting.

This woman allegedly likes a bet….

There is a small but potential risk that a crushing Conservative defeat with a reasonable Reform vote could lead to the rise of Farage as leader of a future "New Conservative" type party merged with Reform.

So be careful what you wish for, as things can have unintended consequences.

Given the complete shambles of the Reform manifesto, anything giving Farage actual power would be catastrophic. The Truss fiasco would be miniscule in comparison.
That bstd doesn’t want to become an MP. No money in it
He doesn’t want to serve the country, he wants to maximise personal gain and couldn’t care less if it devastates the Conservative Party and the country along with it.

Prison governors have been warned that jails will be so overcrowded by the second week of July that they will struggle to accept any more inmates, plunging an incoming government into an immediate crisis.

The heads of jails in England and Wales were informed by HM Prison and Probation Service officials earlier this month that data pointed to an “operational capacity breaking point” only days after the 4 July general election.

A second Conservative candidate is being looked into by the Gambling Commission over a bet relating to the timing of the general election, the BBC can reveal.

Laura Saunders is the party’s candidate in Bristol North West and has worked for the party since 2015.

It looks beautiful but they must have twisted this poll so they could run it as a scare story.

They've got South Holland and the Deepings going Labour ffs. A seat where the Tory got 75% last time and a majority of 62%, the largest Tory majority anywhere for 60 years. I think that one might be safe.....

The catastrophic consequences of a Labour government starting early I see.

How can they let it happen on their watch?

It's sort of unbelievable that we are facing a situation where no more people found guilty can go to jail because there's no room left

There is going to be a lot of hired buses picking folk up from care homes and bungalows and whisking them to the polling booth on the 4th.

The problem with these scare stories is that a lot of Tory voters will now stay at home because they’ll think there is no hope. Hopefully that number is a lot higher than the ones who’ll be frightened into voting blue.

KeIr SmArMeR spent his whole career defending cRiMiNalS including TeRrOrIsTs, so he will probably just let them all off.

What an extremely specific date.

When do you think prisons will be overrun?

Ooh, 2nd week of July, 2024.

The Met were very quick to suspend their Officer accused of betting on an Election date with inside info as soon as the investigation started.

The Tories? No way, every seat counts!

Rishi set the agenda by betting and winning so much against the British economy in 2008. One Tory has apologised, as soon as the other does it will be a non-issue for Lego Elvis. I think he is proud of those two candidates for spotting an opportunity and making some money. He is not a man to stamp on people’s aspirations.
