Pretty predictable really.

It was only a matter of time until the bungle****'s inability to take his role seriously crashed down around him.

The members of the party that voted him as leader are massively to blame.

Steve Barclay is now Health Minister.

Come back in a week's time and he will be just keeping seat warm pending a cooler winter on backbenches.

FFS, anyone who accepts a ministerial promotion is either politically suicidal or extremely stupid; either way unfit to be in next Cabinet. It's like being asked to the Bridge of the Titanic and given Chief Engineer's job.

There's a lesson for us all today. Javid and Sunak have demonstrated another value, apart from the obvious, of building wealth.

No matter what job you hold, you are never trapped in a job you don't like.
No matter how well it is paid, or how high powered it is, if you have wealth behind you, you can walk away from your job if you don't like it, or if you don't like the boss.

West is BEST
Even the Daily Hate Mail has turned on him. Hypocritical wankers.

This. I normally vote Conservative as least bad of the bunch, but had to hold my nose last time; only the prospect of an even worse car crash with JC as PM kept me in the blue corner. But I kept asking myself why I am voting for a party whose members thought BJ could ever be a leader instead of a populist rabble rouser. He is toast now; just thinking about next leader. Suspect Javid/Sunak see themselves a deal makers: woo them and next leader has a dream ticket.

The party are in such a bad state they are heading for a decade in the wilderness like themselves and Labour before. Boris is simply a symptom of what the party have become.

Free spending populism and only catering for your core vote only gets you so far.

Barclay and Zahawi - panic-promotions to key cabinet slots to maintain the illusion of 'business as usual'. Appointments not based on any level of competence in the role whatsoever - they're just an extra pair of hands for the buckets to try and keep shovelling water out of this stinking, rotten, sinking tugbout of a government.

Zahawi in particular is a seasoned brown-nose extraordinaire in defending the indefensible on behalf of the fat lying fop-haired shagmeisting bungle****. I've lost count of the times I've seen him trotted out on Newsnight or QT to blather his way around the latest scandal to come sloshing up like a tide of rancid effluent on the No10 doorstep, treating the public like a bunch of bumpkins who point at planes. He should have a f*cking enamel MOP permanently pinned to his lapel. So what a surprise HE got the big gig.

Scum.
Subhuman scum.

On top of the world
Is there any other job where you can totally trash the 'company brand', have several, respected, senior staff resign in protest at your behaviour, yet still be allowed to carry on as if **** all had happened? It defies belief, it really does.
