Jake Berry on QT as the Tory talking head just said he thinks Zahawi and Raab should stand down while investigations are ongoing.

(Johnson got him his knighthood)

Good to see Gillian Keegan voting for me shit in Chichester harbour
I take it all of the Sussex MP's voted for shifting on their own doorstep?

“Nadhim Zahawi, the beleaguered former chancellor and current chair of the Conservative party, is under pressure to reveal the source of about £30m of unsecured loans made to his wife’s UK property company.

The loans were used to finance parts of a large UK property portfolio, reported last year as worth about £100m, and were declared in company accounts which span a period from 2017 to 2021 but give no information about who the lenders are”.

“The Department of Health has wasted a total of £15bn on unused personal protective equipment, Covid tests and vaccines, prompting heavy criticism from the Whitehall spending watchdog.

The department spent £8.9bn during 2020/21 and another £6bn last year on such supplies, including masks and gowns for NHS staff that have proved unuseable and are now being burned”.

The lenders?

Worst case scenario - Russian Oligarchs.

Most likely scenario - Russian Oligarchs.

Also what is despicable about Hunt's forthcoming announcement is he also says that to realise the goals of Brexit and ending austerity they will have to resist union calls for pay rises which "could raise costs".

Blaming the failure of Brexit and their economic failures on nurses wanting fair pay. Scum. Sub-human scum. Plough the bastards into a ditch.

I doubt it, more a question of will the Reform party replace the Tory party imo. I think the Tories are toast.
Inexplicably 1 in 5 of the electorate think you're wrong

It’s really nothing new from Hunt, remember when he demonised Junior Doctors.

Sunak looking very weak, I feel a Johnson comeback isn't out of the question.

It is absolutely incredible that after all the undeniable lying, corruption, incompetence and pure contempt and disdain that the current cabal show everyone outside of themselves and their backers, there are still 1 in 5 of the general public who would vote them back in. I think after all that has happened, it is proof that there is absolutely nothing this Government could do which would change those 1 in 5 minds.

And I'm sure it would be the same if it was a Labour government that was this corrupt and incompetent. I struggle to think of a word to describe it

Hunt at some conference on TV at the moment really pushing for praise for the government for bringing inflation down this year ... I can't find any economic commentators who think this is inevitable.
