Now Williamson is gone, the spotlight will fall back on Braveman.

Two things to keep an eye on for the next few weeks I think are if Defence is cut in the Autumn statement I think Wallace will resign, and if the triple lock on pensions is dropped there will be a back bench rebellion of some kind.

Could be a choppy few weeks.
Braverman?

I think Raab is going to have something to say about that!

Sunak?

Is he a weak coward who lets people bully him into giving them a place in the cabinet?

Is his judgment so poor he really believes these arse-holes are fit for cabinet?

Are there simply no other choices in a party bereft of any qualified personnel with a sense of morality?

All of the above?

No, he can only choose from a small, select bunch that Johnson and Truss had, i.e. the backwash, bottom of the barrel politicians who wouldn't get near the cabinet in a million years so are happy to pretend Brexit is still a good idea, perputuate and spin all the lies, corruption and gaffes. So there are many good, true conservsative politicians banished to the wings while this inept cabal carry on driving the country along the road to ruin for another 2 years, and he can't do a political left turn otherwise he won't have a mandate so has to keep flogging the Brexit dead horse

Nail on head.

Our country is being run by the equivalent of Ron C Manager

What does the 'C' stand for? ???

Bad news for the NHS:

The chancellor has admitted the NHS is on the brink of collapse but warned the struggling service will also need to play its part in helping fix Britain’s broken economy.

Jeremy Hunt said there were “massive pressures in the NHS … with doctors, nurses on the frontline frankly under unbearable pressure”. However, he said the service received a lot of money and “we need to do everything we can to find efficiencies”.

"Everyone will pay more tax this Autumn"

I bet not everyone will. Some don't even pay it now.

I'm sure the taxpayers alliance will be furious and provide a detailed report how the Tories have squandered billions over the past few years...

Not to worry, a nice juicy contract to sell our medical data to the Americans will help

As well as that bus money which is due any day now.

And that's why he looks so smarmy taking about it.
How would you like your austerity, sir? Publicly owned, or sold to an American company with its HQ in Panama?

It will be much easier to tighten your belt after malnutrition has got rid of a couple of stone of unsightly fat, skin and muscle.

You couldn't make it up, using a Labour policy to undermine Sunak....

Johnson and Truss have both weighed in behind a Tory rebellion designed to end the de facto ban on new onshore wind farms

It’s on!

Another Portillo moment in 2024!

The ****ing pig thinks it can get back the Torty leadership after Sunak inevitably loses the election!

Let’s see the pig roasted like Portillo was in ‘96. The swing needed to remove this tosser from his London seat is not that significant. This could be the best election moment of all time!

There’s no way any Tory will win that seat next time. Especially not one the local population can’t stand.
