I genuinely shudder at the thought that any one of those 5 duplicitous politicians will soon grab the most powerful job in the United Kingdom.....

Having a chat yesterday in the pub with a mates wife….I always vote Tory she said, why I asked ? I always have and always will she says definitely, what do you like about there policies ? I don’t know any of them as I am not into politics but I know they are better than Labours…end of discussion.

So that’s the 30%

Was your mate present?

A Tory MP was told he should be ashamed of the government’s record on LGBT rights during the Vote of Confidence debate in the Commons – which led to a heated exchange across the Commons chamber.

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Johnson going full Trump and talking about the 'deep state'

Some people will say as I leave office that this is the end of Brexit, oh yes, and the leader of the opposition and the deep state will prevail in its plot to haul us back into alignment with the EU as a prelude to our eventual return, and we on this side of the House will prove them wrong, won’t we?

So we now have in place a “caretaker PM” parroting far right conspiracies in Parliament.

If I’d voted for him I’d be hugely embarrassed.

I really am struggling to see why Truss is so popular.

She can barely speak.

She's channeling Thatcher and large swathes of the undead are frigging themselves towards a messy climax. It's too, too repulsive.

Sally-Ann Hart, Conservative MP for Hastings and Rye said Labour were panicking at the idea of a new Conservative leader.

She said:

With this Prime Minister gone, what will the opposition do? We can feel their panic from across the floor: their hate fuelled moralistic posturing has made them all vulnerable.

On this side of the house we keep calm and carry on.

His bravura performance in parliament today was vintage Johnson. And the tories cheered!

And then Starmer stood up and said (to paraphrase) "what a load of old bollocks. It's no wonder your own side have sacked you, you ****ing disgrace of a human being".

I may have elaborated that last bit based on what I'd imagined he'd said. Which, in this Johnstonian era means he definitely said it.

She has a point here - Labour have used the “we are not Boris” line a lot - they will have to come out with a lot more now.

With this Prime Minister gone, what will the opposition do?

Everything after is rubbish.
