I realise that the right wing press (Express & Sun) aren’t touching these pictures anymore but it certainly seems like it’s one rule for them, another rule for us?

For a laugh I just had a look what the asylum over at the Guido Fawkes blog were saying about this. Interestingly the blogs author is also laying into Johnson over this, which is generally at odds with the blogs acolytes, who seem to be strict antilockdown types, bordering on conspiracy theorists.

Seems that Brexit is at play in this regard. Johnson is apparently angling for an extreme left-wing socialist/communist version of Brexit, which is completely at odds with the right-wing ideological wet dream of a pure Brexit, unspoilt by any idea of anything but Randism.

So, the populist rags are still backing Johnson, well they would he is still popular cos he got Brexit done.

But the true right-wing ideological purists (aka asylum dwellers) want Johnson ousted.

I would suggest it one of these types behind all these leeks.

It would make sense why this has been sat on, I understand there are significant Brexit bits coming up…

Well at the end of the day, it’s up to those who voted for the blue team to do something about it at the next elections.

Seems that Brexit is at play in this regard. Johnson is going for an extreme left-wing socialist/communist version of Brexit, which is completely at odds with the right-wing ideological wet dream of a pure Brexit.

keeping pressure on him with more and more of the same kind of accusations is a big part of the plan.[/QUOTE said:
Worked against Corbyn and worked to get Brexit, so why wouldn't Cummings use the same tactics against Johnson now?

Basic Cummings strategy: Concoct a story you think you can 'sell' - tell the public that something they wouldn;t have been that bothered about previously is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER and then keep that story going for long enough it becomes the 'truth'.

  • Brexit is the most important decision ever ever ever and defines our country one way or the other (even though few of us - quite understandably - cared much one way or other six months before the vote).
  • Corbyn is a shabbily dressed anti-semitic extremist (even though most of us quite like his actual, centre left, polices)
  • Some people having a business meeting outdoors with wine is the worst thing ever! (even though nobody would have taken a second glance at that picture a month ago)

Whatever you do do NOT talk about actual politics! Cummings aim is to bring down Boris Johnson (and his wife). Not to bring down the Tories, as he'll be hoping to get himself back into No.10 once Johnson is gone.

Bit rich of Johnson to blame the media for doing exactly what put him in power in the first place. Live by the sword...

There must be more stuff coming on Johnson and parties.

I just can’t get worked up about that picture, hopefully it’s the normal tactic of releasing a photo, letting Johnson and the lackeys defend it as nothing then the good stuff comes out

Cummins is pretty dangerous, the full length podcast with Laura K from Beeb last July is a good listen.

As I understand it, lockdowns have been introduced to protect the NHS from huge, unbearable pressure. In that respect, the 3 lockdowns so far have worked, the NHS has managed with Covid, just, if not the other illnesses people have.( That is not a criticism)
With London announcing a major event, 400 Ambulance workers isolating, some have said a third of NHS workers testing positive, is there anyway we shouldn’t be locking down again?
The Matron of StGeorges Hospital Tooting, said on Wednesday, they had 11 patients in ICU with Covid, 9 of whom were unvaccinated.

If it's normal for Downing St business meetings to involve wine then I'd be very interested to know if that's funded by the taxpayer

It's bad enough being lied to by Boris but it's almost as bad being played by Dominic Cummings via his leaking of photos and stories to the media.

Yesterday's photo was more than 19 months old and it has been sat on until now. Don't treat us as idiots - this a political regicide being played out by a wronged individual who has hatched a plan to bring down his mortal enemy.

The thing is, if Boris goes the next leader will come from Rishi, Gove or Truss, and they're all Boris people, all tainted, so it will be more of the same.

There is a steady decline in Tory PMs: Thatcher > Major > Cameron > May > Johnson and there is no reason to suppose this trend will change.

Rishi = A bloke who gives away money. I could do that.
Gove = Looks like a nerd, behaves like a ****, will stab anyone in the back if it advances his career.
Truss = Former ardent Remainer, now Brexit Minister. Say no more.

I can't help thinking if Johnson is ousted against his will (or that of the people) the cycle is far from over!

Could Right Said Fred still be in with a chance?

Allegedly, Allegra (close friend of Rishi) is on tape talking about the mistresses.

I think he will be back

It's unimaginable he will be back in government. He has continually publicly, betrayed his former boss. He's the last person a new PM would bring in.

Cummins aim isn't a new job or another chance. His aim is to create turmoil. It always has been

The beauty of the killer blow coming from a woman with the same rare name as one of his exes would be exquisite. Must be a Marvel movie in there somewhere - Allegra Power.

Can you imagine the autobiography? You would feel so dirty buying it. He has replaced Bercow as my favourite antihero. I find it helps to take a small amount of pleasure from one of the hideous scrotes upsetting the other hideous scrotes to try and keep some kind of sanity.

But with enough turmoil he's back in.
