I am not sure corruption played a part in this investigation, I think it is possible but unlikely. However, if a decision from the Police looks to be absurd, people will want an explanation, some, like me, will believe that he has dodged a second one on a technicality, that being he did not leave his home to attend a gathering, the gathering came to him, others will believe they can smell a whiff of corruption. What no one believes is that he was not in attendance at any more illegal gatherings.
The accusations at Javid are nothing to d with the investigation. The accusations at Javid are that the police department charged with the investigations has finished their job, and Javid's department has been charged with answering the people that reckon the first department hasn't done its job right and need investigating in their turn.

Everything to do with these rules was a technicality. It was probably never illegal in itself to present a cake to someone at work, but if the manner of the presentation wasn't right then it might become illegal. The cake presentation was reported in the press at the time and no-one kicked off about it then because even Johnson's opponents didn't realise it might be illegal.

Follow his instructions? I did an HWT and put him on ignore. :lolol:

You haven't missed anything, just his normal trolling. It's probably for the best if we all do, we wouldn't want him getting himself banned again

I can’t work out which of you is which [emoji6]

This all stinks of a cover up. Johnson was at 6 events at which others have been given FPNs yet he only had one, for the birthday cake. Surely he can't argue that it was his home because he doesn't live at No.10!

The drinks in the garden event should surely warrant a fine. He wasn't in his garden, he was at No.10. If it was work then were are the papers/documents etc and why was his wife at a works meeting. The reason is that it wasn't work related.

Johnson has thrown all his juniors as sacrificial lambs. He'll never resign under any circumstances.

It seems the 'greased albino pig' has slithered past the 'butchers' again! Will the great British public be gulled by him again though? No doubt he will lead the tories into the next election election and then we'll know....

The best take I've seen on it is: no fine for Johnson is good news for the Tories as it means that he'll be leading them in the next general election and no fine for Johnson is good news for Labour as it means that he'll be leading them in the next general election.

his lack of attendance would suggest he was interested in the vanity.
More about what his security clearance gets him to see rather than vanity. It's almost certain his Kremlin ties are significant.

I want to know why Crime Minister Johnson is so scared of releasing the information.

Most of us had made our minds up about it after the first photo, police charges are not really gunna change that.

Boris and his friends have 24 hr close protection, everyone entering Downing Street is logged in and out. the whole of Whitehall is covered by security cameras, snipers are positioned to give clear overview of all the grounds. All monitored by high ranking Police officers. No way can these events go unnoticed.

The question isn't how he only managed to get one fine. The real story is WHY and WHO covered it up as it was happening. There was no need for a Police investigation. They knew all along.

My only solace at present is knowing that this will all come crashing down around them at some point. Hugely marred by the fact that the lot of them, having trashed the U.K, will walk away millionaires and not give one solitary shit.

A nest of *****.
