Tomorrow marks the 70th day since Boris Johnson first had to defend himself in the Commons over Christmas parties held in Downing St during lockdown.

On the 1st December 2021 Johnson stood in the Commons and claimed no parties took place but that if they did they would have adhered to the Covid laws*
70 days later we are no closer to ousting the lying sack of shite.

He is going nowhere.

*and let' have that right, by the way. Those were LAWS not rules.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey. The cost of living crisis + April fuel increases + April NI increases + shit May election results (and possible interest rate rises) will eventually do for him.

This new photo actually looks like a Cold War Steve effort complete with tinsel around neck and bottle of bubbly at front of camera.
Supposedly NOT one of the many parties already being investigated.
It's clear this lot are pissed most of the time.

Having queried Baker Lite yesterday about the need to write "Sir Kneel", it would be remiss of me to ignore these (and any others I've missed). Why do it, boys, why?
Because it's one of the few things we can do to get back at the disgraces that are blighting our country. Spaffa Pig, The Borg Queen ( now kicked out ), Dim Dom, Cruella Patel etc. All fair targets.

Anyone who's watched any of Nadine Dorries' various media appearances over the last week won't have been dissuaded from this analysis

So now we have newly appointed lackies telling people what to think

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-60318610

these ***** aren't worth the oxygen they breath, I hope they all **** off and die soon, not fit to serve us.

The only thing they are sorry about is they got busted. It will be for the public to declare whether they care, they will express that in May...

Anyway, Cummins is bored and out of work. That's dangerous for Bojo...

The former No 10 adviser Dominic Cummings, now a fierce critic of Johnson, said further pictures would soon come out. “There’s waaaaay better pics than that floating around, incl[uding] in the flat,” he tweeted.

“The pics will come out and the public will think ‘Met [police] lying’, not ‘oh PM innocent after all’. Penny dropping with MPs.”

Fiveways
Ring leader already identified as ex-Tory councillor who was kicked out the party. Same people who confronted Michael Gove.

(Worth pointing out for giggles that Piers Corbyn is a long standing friend and ex unofficial advisor of Johnson from when he was London Mayor, but I digress)

Party politics don't really come into it though, the anti-vax lot are a very odd coalition, very odd indeed.

Many on the far left and the far right extremes have fused their beliefs (aiding by the internet) with conspiracy theories.

The far left anti-Semitism problem is very old and just reappeared unfortunately.

The far right are much more dynamic and have moved away from anti-Semitism (via Islamophobia) taking on Brexit and have now adopted anti lockdown/vaccines as their pet project.

Who predicted that ? They've obviously managed to groom and convince a number of old school hippies, but you ever trusted a hippie ?

It doesn't take much more than a cursory bit of research to find the same individuals are involved. I imagine they got ignited by Brexit and then got bored.

The utter oddness is they spend far much more time attacking either the opposition, the public sector (mainly the NHS) or journalists rather than confronting a mildly right of centre Government in power who are ultimately "responsible" for whatever beef they have.

That can possibly be explained by a "QAnon" type thinking, that their "preferred" administration is actually being hampered by a "deep state". Who knows ?

Further parallels with "QAnon" is the Savile/Starmer myth that originated on far-right facebook groups. I personally don't believe that Johnson comments led to the attack, since he was simply repeating what they've been saying for ages.

Where the PM let himself down was as a journalist he was fully aware of the lies and who he was "talking to". That obviously led to his most trusted and long standing advisor (who is far "radical" than Johnson himself) throwing the towel in. They'd discussed it prior to his performance and he ignore their advice.

Lastly to add to the nonsense, it would be wise not to link Piers Corbyn with Momentum. Last year he was quite happy to be interviewed by a far-right web channel employing ex-members of the BNP.

Confusing isn't it ?

To add a bit of balance, I was walking through Brixton years ago and (literally) the wind blew a flyer for an anti Iraq invasion meeting in a church hall. I'd never been to anything like that before so went along out of interest.

There was no more than a handful of people there, but Clair Short (the MP) spoke alongside some other left leaning local politicians and celebrities. It was educational.

However the second half was hijacked by some 9/11 deniers who blamed Israel whilst somehow fusing the conspiracy with the privatisation of the Post Office.

Nut jobs everywhere.

Agree with the first bit of this (didn't read beyond that), but anti-semitism is very much alive and well on the far right, but not all of it for the reason you state.
