What did they do well (other the reduce UKIP to less than 3% of the vote and got beaten by the Psychedelic Party where the Tories were the only competition) ? Total votes she got were less than the previous majority. She was given it, she didn’t win it :lolol:

I don't think it's funny when the former MP was murdered and both Labour and the Lib dems recognised that ???

Regards
DF

Police cars revolving lightBREAKING: Tory MP Nick Gibb calls on Boris to resign

One of the longest serving Tory ministers in the last decade. A moderate. Letter submitted.

“I am sorry to say that it is hard to see how it can be the case that the Prime Minister told the truth”

Sad state of affairs, a man having a beer deemed more news worthy than Lord Ahmed of Rotherham (yes that Rotherham) being sent to prison for 5 years for rape of a child.

Both are newsworthy… Ahmed is a disgrace and deserves severe punishment. Nothing more to say on that matter….

Johnson is the leader of this country with great power and his lack of integrity has a negative impact on all of us. Plenty to say about his serial misdemeanours.

Nice try though…..

A man having a beer isn’t newsworthy. But a serving Prime Minister being proven to have repeatedly and knowingly lied to Parliament - and therefore breaching the ministerial code and being compelled to resign definitely is newsworthy.

If, when first asked, Johnson had admitted he had a smal birthday party he could probably have survived this. What has undone him has been the repeated lying, bluff and bluster. The habit of a lifetime, unfortunately.

It's complete desperation. His supporters have given up defending him and will simply quote something worse but unrelated.

"It's not like he's Jimmy Savile though is it?"

That's how low he and they have sunk.

I’m assuming you have early access to the Met investigation?
At this point, I must confess, I had a beer on my birthday last year.

He doesn't need to. The MET is even more leaky than Number 10.

Quite obvious more details would appear when it was passed over.

That's what happens when you have dysfunctional and mistrusted leadership at the top.

Probably best not to comment on an ongoing police investigation though eh?.

A party took place in the number 11 flat (Johnson’s home) on the evening of 13 November 2020. We know this as fact because Sue Gray felt it a serious enough breach to refer to the Met. Johnson said he fully supports the Gray report. Johnson has also been asked repeatedly if he was present. All he says is, “I won’t comment on a matter currently being investigated by the police.”

If he wasn’t there, he would simply say so. But he can’t, because he was. I don’t think anybody needs a Met police report to know Johnson was at the ABBA party in his own home that Friday night. If the Sue Gray report had been published in full in would be a matter of public record already.

We don’t need the Met to tell us what the Gray report already states.
