He's an intellectually limited, opportunist tub-thumper, who is perfectly suited to delivering witty quips and rousing soundbites from the sidelines, but put him at the helm during one of the trickiest political times in living memory and what has he got...?

He can't bluster through it when he's got a significant section of his own party (or at least recently of it) joining in the fight to defend due and proper process being followed.

But a lot of people will also think he is "doing the right thing". Being a Remainer, I can cope with the idea of trying to get BREXIT sorted out, but it is the way he is doing it that matters. Jess Phillips in Parliament today was seeking reassurance that there is not a deliberate strategy of stirring up hate and division. I guess she is limited by the etiquette and protocols of parliament as to what she can say, but anyone with any sense can see that is exactly what is going on.

Thirdly, I agree about and am deeply worried about the level of division in the country, and agree that both sides are guilty of it.

You and I don't always agree but I think it is fair to say that we both see ourselves as reasonable posters. Yes, you are right about the way the country is going and the level of division is indeed worrying. But when you say that one side -the side you don't like, of course -is deliberately making matters worse, you are then equally as guilty of carrying on the division. It might just be that that side is fed up with being thwarted by the other side determined to prevent what a majority voted for. As to your point about specifics, the whole tie with the EU is so incredibly intricate, that I am not sure anyone really knows exactly and to a minute degree what is at stake. Leavers want to go, perhaps without fully realising what is at stake, and remainers want to remain, again not totally appreciating that there may be a better option in that membership of the EU might be in some respects restrictive.

17.4 million people is not a majority of the electorate especially when postal votes went missing, arrived late, and many people were denied a vote.
The government's QC James Eadie admitted in the High Court, that the referendum was corrupted.

I think I would call that scraping the barrel in a desperate attempt to avoid the reality regarding the outcome of the referendum. How do you even know that the postal votes would not have increased the figure of those wanting to leave?! And just to let you know, I voted remain, but accept that when the major parties all agreed to hold a referendum, the result of that should then be implemented, and not thwarted just because you didn't like the result.
