So the all ticket games of Swindon Wycombe and Torquay ALL turn out to be pay on day. Hardly surprising.

I'm not going any more!

All the time it was slightly more difficult than just turning up with a crisp £20 note it made me look like some sort of uber fan. Now any one can just turn up!!

This club is a disgrace!

Using your local knowledge: how does the ground cope with a deep frost? Are there many games called off? I was thinking of buying train tickets today (hopefully cheaper) but may hold off with the threatened frost....

Only 600 left though. So, if you are going to pay on the gate, would suggest getting there early just in case.

Oi!

I paid a 2 quid admin charge for my ticket and could have walked in on the day?

Bloody rip off.

We'd better score 10.

Torbay has got a mild 'micro-climate', palm trees and stuff grow there, it's always much warmer than the rest of Devon, the -6C (if it happerns) will be over Dartmoor a few miles away, there shouldn't be a problem in Torquay.

By the way, today the Met Office revised its winter forecast for the UK. Until yesterday it was 'milder than average', now it's suddenly been changed to 'colder than average'.

Marvellous news, as I am staying in Paignton anyway for the new year.

I recommend a pint of Bay's Gold (there's 36 pints in the basement here )
