Top Gear: Who should the new presenters be?

Let it die, it had passed it's sell by date anyway. Clarkson is what sold it to the rest of the world. No doubt the BBC will try and recoup the hundreds of millions they will lose by producing some edgy watered down trendy version though.

Will be interesting to see if Clarkson wants to continue with someone like Sky and compete with the BBCs new version.

Is it? I have no idea which countries produce their own editions and which ones take the UK edition but I can't image that many being that bothered about Clarkson, May and the little tit Hammond.

I think it will do fine without him or the three of them, I haven't watched it for years as it got boring and predictable. Perhaps with a new presenter or group of presenters it will do ok.

There will obviously be a large number of people out there who want it to fail, either BBC bashers or Clarkson apologists, who will be saying how s'hite it is whatever happens.

I have said this on other Clarkson threads, but Guy Martin must be an option. Mad about speed, qualified truck mechanic, motorcycle racer and owner of the finest paid of sideburns in England since Noddy Holder. Granted nobody from outside Grimsby would understand what he was saying, but the Beeb could always use subtitles.

Jo Brand, Sarah Millican and Mel & Sue
This would not surprise me at all😀

It will be Suzi Perry alongside a camp looking metrosexual boy band kind of guy and a Welsh or northern based comedian who once presented a guest column in the guardian/independent or dined with Cohen in a lovely Islington bistro bar. Can't wait for the new series to start.......😭😭

Completely unrealistic but Idris Elba would be good and give the show a different feel. He did a show on cars last year which I enjoyed.

The new incarnation of the show could be soft porn. Sexy bevvy totty all over the hoods and inside stroking the gearstick....

Ahhh ..... Men and Motors .... I guess it might be due a revival.

Suzi Perry - 14/1 at the moment, would be a good fit imo. Experience presenting on a factual show with comedic elements, massive petrolhead and also currently works for the BBC.

I read somewhere that Chris Evans was in the running - please let it not be him. Suzi Perry and Rowan Atkinson get my vote.

Agree, needs to be someone whose a bit quirky and appeals to a younger generation.
