seems an odd comment or observation to make. firstly its not really scouting to know who agents have on their books or where/what they are doing, secondly it strikes me as something that any club is one appointment away from acquiring. his real point seemed to be that a manager needs to have contacts with top agents to get the top players, which may be true but also a bit redundant for clubs outside the top 4-5 that arent looking to buy in established names.

Yeh Right Jon ???????

That's him touting his services to go through him because he sees us as a good bet to go up and he expects us to be looking at recruiting a different calibre of player next year, if we go up. How on earth does he or can he know the full extent of Brighton's scouting network. He might know the structure but there is no way that he knows what connections those individuals personally have.

The network is probably as good as anyone else's in the country. The only difference is, to date, we have been probably looking at players within our current budget and to expand the Youth System.
