They clearly haven't got the memo that Cucurella is DEFIANTLY off to Citeh for 57p and a Chomp bar – and that the Albion should be happy they are lowering themselves to do business with them :moo:

Nothing new, Potter loves his players to have flexibility. We build forward with some width from Lamptey & Cucurella and push an extra player centrally into midfield to allow Trossard to roam. Then when out of possession we add an extra player to central defence by dropping a wing back into a central role and moving a midfielder out wider to cover.

We have done this many times with Lamptey, Veltman, Burn and now Cucurella being able to attack wide and drop central to defend. These have been supported by Gross, Moder, March, Trossard & Zeqiri dropping into a wingback position with varying success.

Ultimately it allows us extra personel when defending for stability and utilising more skillful players when moving forward.
