Pedants Corner - last time I looked at my membership it was Sussex County Cricket Club i.e S.C.C.C.....

Oh and I am another one who isn't too upset when our multimillionaire w*anker national footy team lose....

Will watch any sport but The Albion and Sussex CCC are all I follow...I certainly share the above sentiments about the 'national' team too

It's boring and pointlessly bitter.

I don't see how you can hate a group of people in such a personal way that have (supposedly) no effect on your life personally.

But y'know, best to go with the herd eh?

Hate's a bit strong. Dislike is more appropiate, after all, they are earning WAY too much money, many of them acting like COCKS rather than role-models, and all of them representing teams contributing to the sorry excuse we have as a 'fair league system' here...

As someone else shrewdly put it; 'their product is killing my product'

If Brighton got to the PremierSHIP, would you turn your back on them? Would you go along with all the perks of the PremierSHIP?

If Brighton ever do make it to the top flight, it would be very easy to make a lot of people on here look very silly simply by bringing up a few old posts.

You would LOVE it. Be honest.

No. Pretty pointless post.

Turning my back on Brighton would achieve nothing. I'd support us through whatever. I'm not gunna single handedly change how English football works, it's unlikely anyone will. But that doesn’t mean that a lot of what goes on in English football isn't a joke. It'll still be a joke. We'd just be more involved in the joke.

You would have to contradict things you had said previously though?

Would you enjoy it less because Brighton were actively participating and contributing to the thing you hated/disliked? Would we not become part of what you hated?
