What are the Top5 best villages and towns people on NSC have lived in or visited no particular order.

Weare Giffard (Devon)
St Neots (Cornwall)
Matlock Bath (Derbyshire)
Kirkby Malzeard (Yorshire)
Burpham and Warningcamp (Sussex)

Worth Matravers, Dorset
Leintwardine, Herefordshire
Uppermill / Saddleworth (historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire)
Helston, Cornwall
Bishops Castle, Shropshire

I'm not mentioning my own village, because it gets far too many visitors already.

Five is a hell of a limitation.

I guess I'm not allowed to add:-

Llangynog / Pennant Melangell, Powys
Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh
Hexham, Northumberland
Broadstairs, Kent
Thaxted, Essex

Or Telscombe Village, where I once lived.

of course my lord the more the merrier, I was just dreaming of village cricket whilst watching the Ashes in the wee small hours of a winter's morning in NZ and was thinking I wonder what the best village or town that I have been too.

Surely you should go and live in the one that you class as the best?

Llanymawddwy
Edale, Derbyshire
Castleton, Derbyshire
Falmouth, Cornwall
Whitby, North Yorks
Stein, Skye

All fantastic places for a variety of reasons. I'd prefer all of them to be a little quieter, but if no-one went there, they would lose some of their fun stuff.

Might be being thick, but isn't Bray in Berkshire, the one on the river? If so, been passed it on the boat, lovely place but couldn't moor up anywhere :-(

South Wales (im not welsh !!)
East Londinium
The Village of Brum
Geordiecastle
The delightful Viillage of Mamucium.

And not forgetting that beautiful village called "South Norwood" where the villagers still go about their daily lives in a way that is so quaint! they share all their belongings and on a nightly basis they dance around home fires while drinking a home brew of apple juice! All of them from birth are taught the social skills of security and to this day it is known that all of them are the most skilled and successful in this country at "Social Security" claims, but the thing these local villagers are best known for is the art of installing wheels on their homes!!

Kingsand and Cawsand, Cornwall. (twin villages, you can't see the join)
Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Historic town, steam railway and Batham's best bitter - what's not to like.
Dartmouth, Devon.
Swanage, Dorset.
Aldeburgh, Suffolk

That is the same one sorry barring are out by quite a way there. Berkshire it is not Surrey. Close to Windsor just to clarify we are talking about the same place.
