This is a season of progress but let’s not go OTT. 9th place we currently occupy will show real progress and intent. Young players will want to come here show what they can do as they will be given a platform to show what they can do. Exciting times but let’s not get away with ourselves

While I really don't think it's going to happen, I do rather like this paragraph from the BBC report :

"It is the 12th time the Seagulls have drawn in the Premier League this season and extends their unbeaten run to six games, with a top-10 finish and challenge for the European places now looking likely."

Yep Villa are on the charge so we'll do well to head them off. Wolves maybe catchable. Top 10 would be outstanding progress for Potter.

A season in the minor Europe banjoree would be nice but we need to start playing like we are 1-0 down when actually level for that to materialise

We are a couple of top signings away from turning some of the draws into wins. We’ve known that for a couple of seasons though.

Not this season but get that clinical finisher during the summer and it’s a possibility next season

I'd love us to be in Europe but when Leicester did it a couple of seasons back do I recall correctly that all the extra fixtures + travel messed them up [poor in the Prem] a bit and highlighted a deeper squad is required.

Do we have a deep enough squad to not go down the same path?

One step at a time, I am just happy not to be in a scrap at or near the bottom. I think the fact that the Albion look like a team that are not hanging on in games and taking the game to the opposition is the real progress

We can.

We won’t, but we can. It’s mathematically possible for us to finish in any of the 20 PL positions currently.

If had beaten palarse and Leicester a european push would have been on

Would need to get low 60 points so 11 wins from 16 games.

Leeds got 59 points and nowhere near, 4 points off 7th

Almost, considering we were missing Lallana, Mwepu and Biss from midfield today, and Dunk and Duffy from defence, I think we showed our squad has reasonable depth, it is just the forward positions (the toughest ones to find) that we are short on options, however, we have players on the edge of the first team that may be able to step up next season, and the chance of playing in Europe will make signing any players a little easier.
