1. Road to Perdition
2. Catch me if you can
3. Green Mile

Top two on that list are hugely underrated films. They are just excellent.
I too enjoy Catch Me but felt it was a little too Leo-y to go down as a top Hanks film.

Impossible to pick three, the man is an all time great. But here was my gut reaction. Have seen all three numerous times and EVERY single time it is a pleasure. But I'd gladly watch Forest Gump over and over again as well. Just chose not to as it is a little bit sad for me. But fantastic nonetheless. I'm a major fan.

Saving Mr Banks
Saving Private Ryan
Apollo 13

Just re-reading through this thread and there are so many others aren't there. Fabulous in the Da Vinci Code. Fabulous in all of the Toy Story stuff, oh my. I love that man.

Possibly only Robin Williams comes close for me.

One of my favourite all time films - and not just because of Hanks....but it helped.

Blimey @Gabbafella we are poles apart. I felt the same way about Eastwood and his films. Hanks winds me up in a Pardew stylee.
I like Eastwood both as an actor as a director, Richard Jewell, Sully, The Mule, Gran Turino, American Sniper, Space Cowboys, Million Dollar Baby, all cracking films that he's either starred in or directed/produced.

How do you feel about Sully? Directed by Eastwood but Starring Hanks.

I keep trying to pick three, and as i read down someone mentions another one which is amazing. He's made a hell of a lot of fantastic films.
