Poyet stated in his last seagulls player interview that Brighton had given up possession in order to create more chances, theres very little sideways passing going on compared to last year, in order to maximise CMS' skills were getting it forwards much more quickly and much more often. More entertaining and hopefully more successful but slightly less of the 'purists' tippy tappy. Last year I think we ended up with one of the lowest shots on goal counts whereas this year so far its one of the highest.

Well so far you are up on both.

Swansea the year we went up had 61% average possession for the purists or those who care, so it's possible to play that way in this league.

That won't be the case when TB makes the right decision and appoints Tony Pulis to lead the Albion into the promised land. This possession talk is all nonsense, you need to have the ball in the opposition box as quickly as possible.

Why do you think TB has added another tier to the East Stand? It's to allow fans sitting at a high vantage to see more of the ball once Pulis gets here.
