Middlesboro are a completely pointless football club (imho of course) There are some clubs in the Premiership (Boro, Wigan, Blackburn) and you see the masses of empty seats for home games and think, what is the point of your existence? Depressed northern towns and clubs full of players desperate to jump ship as soon as a better offer comes along so that they can achieve a better quality of life and not have to live in Victorian conditions under slate grey skies.

Here ends today's controversial 'Middlesboro are a completely pointless football club' rant. Thanks for reading.

I can't stand Newcastle and the hype that surrounds them. All this 'they're fans deserve better' bollocks pisses me off.

Premiership football every week in a beautiful stadium with (sometimes) quality players. They don't know what football hardship is.

I assume Newcastle won. Can't be bothered to check.

Which is a shame, as inevitably they'll stay up by the skin of their teeth, and fifty five thousand gullible Geordies will hail Shearer as a managerial messiah (Part 34) who's the answer to all their prayers.

Until he gets sacked halfway through next season for poor performances, and they realise they've utterly run out of Messiahs.

f*** it, what's the point of any team outside 'The Big Four', they're the only one's that win anything after all. And that's the point. Right?

Exactly how many messiahs have they got - is there a messiah factory on Tyneside churning them out (presumably the QA inspector was on strike the day they modelled Peter Beardsley).
