In my considered professional opinion they took too long fannying around getting the whale onto the barge.

For real expert opinion they should have bussed in Mrs. McManus and asked her how she gets Michelle out of bed in the morning...

Any sad fucker who takes the piss because some people made a monumental effort to help a defenceless dying creature to live and understandibly gets upset when it dies so close to freedom needs to take a good long look at themselves in a mirror imho :censored:

Sky gave more coverage to a bloody whale than the Pakistanis who are freezing to death on a mountainside because we can't get aid to them - but we can arrange a barge, RIBs, cranes, clear pilotage, all in the space of 36 hours for a whale?

Bollocks.

Agree with you on that. There's hardly been any coverage of this, simply because it didn't involve any british people, unlike the tsunami disaster.

Yep. I'm looking in the mirror. And I don't see any disproportionate wailing/whaling taking place.

Shame yes, national tragedy worthy of continued newspaper column inches, no.

Do we get Ambulance Techs in the paper every time a casualty dies in the Hospital car park, or at the scene of an accident? Just needs to be kept in proportion, that's all.

Calm down.

mmmm

We gave £ 300 000 000 to the Tsunami disaster , how much did their neighbours give diddly shit.

How much did the states around Pakistan give , zip , but the corrupt and hated West gave millions.

Look this was a news story and the fact people can be arsed to try and save it even if it cost a lot of money says a hell of a lot about their humanity. Stop knocking it.
