I think he possibly might. There is a "keep my indie band small" mentality about some of the away fan legends who post on here.

Whilst on the subject, as a STH, may I humbly ask permission to attend my first away game this season on Feb 14th at Norwich.

I think it should be compulsory to fail a breath test before you are allowed in the stadium...You'd get a cracking atmosphere then.:drink: :drink: :drink: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Me and a couple of mates were talking about the lack of atmosphere created by our support yesterday and have put it down to there being to many season ticket holders there yesterday. This is probably the first game for a while where the 75% of tickets to season ticket holders has come into force meaning the normal noisey away support is being subdued by lathargy of your average season ticket holder at Withdean.
I also attended the Brighton v Millwall game, my first home game of the season and quite frankly it was embarrising...even worse then when I attended gsome games last season, I didn't realise it was possible for 6000 supporters to be that quiet.............not even any stamping on the floor anymore..........what happened to us ????????.............the noise created by abut 50 Millwall supporters shows what can be done at Withdean..............and before I get shot down in flames for not being a season ticket holder...........this is just an observation !!!

A lot of STH's do travel away and they do make a noise!

Do you know any STH's that you are happy to criticise?

And of course this as always conveniently ignores the fact that the money you spend does not prop up the club unlike that paid up front by season ticket holders.
I don't see how the 22 per cent discount I get for buying a season ticket "props up the club" in any way at all.

There was a lovely old lady sat in Block 48 - right at the end of one of the rows. I felt very sorry for her as she could obviously hardly see the game, as everyone stood for virtually the whole match. I've a sneaking suspicion she was NOT a regular away fan. But it's great that she went (and hopefully will carry on going). As far as I'm concerned, the more non-regular supporters who go to matches the better.

I was equally as stunned. Very very embarrassing :nono:

It doesn't, but the 78% that you and 5,000 others pay does.

You pay your money for your ST to OUR club...

People who buy tickets to away games (myself included), pay money to OTHER clubs...

Simple...

you would improve withdean 100000% by putting a roof over the south stand...it aint gonna happen, but everywhere where there is a good atmos, there is a roof to hold the sound in...at Withers it just withers

Does that explain the DEAFENING NOISE that comes out of the North Sand (which has a roof) week in week out at Withers???????

Must be the January Blues, everyone seems to be picking on everyone since Christmas. Now pull yourselves together ladies and gentlemen. Our one common goal is the the Albion, be it with a season ticket or not. If we all put the amount of effort that is being used on some of thesefutile arguments into raising the roof (if there was one on the South Stand) at Withdean then I am sure we wooudl all enjoy it more and the team might start winning again. Now pack it in all of you and lets have a group hug:banana:
