Anyone here ready (and brave) enough to own up to giving him stick from the terraces when he took the place of crowd favourite Brian Horton?

This very sad news brings back memories of those special days in May 1983, thirty years on and the first 'Boys of 83' has departed.

Our history, our club, and yes a special player in what was a special team.

In a very small way, promotion back to the top flight would be a tribute to Tony and that era.

Absolutely this. I was in awe of this fella when i was a kid. RIP Tony.

Great minds and all that. NSC will get some there today via edna krabappel's most capable hands.

Tony would have been one of the early heroes for many around my sort of age.

Your not wrong there bud. I'm really gutted at this news. So, so sad.

As a young boy taken to my first game Tony Grelish was the first footballer I noticed and still to this day say he is my favourite player of all time.and has always been my Hero, I am truely gutted and my condolences go out to his Family. R.I.P Tony,

His style maybe similar to crofts or Hammond but his ability goes far beyond. Just the type of player that would complete our current team. Great player and a huge shame. RIP.

Funny, was wondering what happened to him the other day.

Have only great memories of him, particularly the FA Cup run.

Great player, Albion Legend.

Nice touch with the flowers Bozza and Edna. Nice touch.

Those going to Leeds.

The applause thing in the 4th minute is nice. It wouldn't be that complicated to print off a load of number 4s on A4 paper to be held up, I'd have thought. Keeping it simple?

Sorry, but I'm wondering how you applaud whilst holding up a piece of A4.

Really saddened with this news. One of the heroes when I was young back when the FA cup had some magic about it. Didn't he have to cope with asthma too?

RIP Tony
