Tho Stradivarius doesn't like soft going. Maybe not even run. If the rain keeps up Withhold has got about as good an each way chance as anything IMHO. Could end up a bit of a lottery

It's tipping down in my part of the world but no idea what's happening at Ascot Ascot regarding the weather.

I agree a deluge would open up the race and at 8/11 there's little value on the magnificent Stradivarius , Withold at 50s is a fair price in this field but I will have a small E/W flutter , interesting that the Blinkers will be off today , .

Think Stadivarius has won on the soft once before, it was at one of those end of season Champion Days. Withhold has an e/w chance, as do all the other horses.
