'Bloom calculating the odds as he decides whether to stick or twist with Withhold'

https://www.racingpost.com/news/int...hether-to-stick-or-twist-with-withhold/349135

Article discusses whether TB decides to run Withhold in next wednesday's Geelong Cup as a prep race to increase his chances of automatic entry to the Melbourne Cup or whether he just waits and hopes enough Melbourne Cup entries drop out between now and the big race. Big call!

So it has an outside chance of running and it's 8-1, WTF?

Librisa Breeze 5/1 and Flaming Spear (9/1) both declared at Ascot on Saturday. Not looked at either race yet but good to see Winston back on Flaming Spear who has his going again as does LB who won this race last year.

Flaming Spear looks interesting but up against Jamie Osborne's Raising Sand ridden by the exceptional apprentice jockey Nicola Currie. Nicola Currie has had a few good winners with JO in the past month or so and I fancy the 7s on offer from Betfair.

Bloom was interviewed at Brighton back in pub garden weather. He specifically mentioned Librisa Breeze for the Ascot October race.

The shysters at Skybet are offering the best odds currently and also have an extra place in both races so 4 for LB and 5 for FS. They are 5/1 and 9/1 so 59/1 for the double for those that can take advantage. It's BOG too.
