I’ve done £1 e/w on the knackered old nag, no idea of the prices yet.
Seem to recall it was a bit or miss as to whether the trains would stop at Plumpton on raceday. Been on more than one that sailed straight through Plumpton despite being advertised as stopping thereIt's a decent day out now, they've invested in the bars etc.
I've been on more than one raceday train over the years that is advertised as stopping at Plumpton and... just... doesn't...Trains have been stopping ok there for years albeit only one an hour despite there actually being two an hour, the other goes straight through which is ridiculous.
I remember being on one of the old slam door trains in the 90s that didn’t stop so they arranged to stop at Wivelsfield, which it wasnt going to do, and get the next train down to stop and pick us up. Happy days !!I've been on more than one raceday train over the years that is advertised as stopping at Plumpton and... just... doesn't...
I remember cajoling one wheezy old boy who I got chatting to on the train from Lewes across the platform at Haywards Heath because the train didn't stop at Plumpton as advertised. We had about two minutes to make it onto the train back to Lewes which did stop at Plumpton. Only on that train did he confide that he'd only very recently had a serious heart operation and was supposed to be taking things easyI remember being on one of the old slam door trains in the 90s that didn’t stop so they arranged to stop at Wivelsfield, which it wasnt going to do, and get the next train down to stop and pick us up. My mate Mark once had a go on the coconut shy there. Fantastic shot and the coconut flew off. Well the top half did. The bottom half was nailed to its holderI love Plumpton.
Had a very good friend owning a house over the road on the far side, 'next door' to Raymond Briggs.
Never forget the day we went on a family fun day there, backed 6/7 winners and won a big fluffy dog on the stalls. What life is all about.
I've a free bet looking for a home, that'll do.Not a Bloom horse
Bit of a E/W long shot whisper about Northfield Lake 18.30 Kempton tonight currently a ridiculous 200-1 with 365, obviously the likelihood of this tentative punt coming in is very unlikely but the source is pretty sound going on previous and rare information,so if your 50p e/W ends up last needing a lift past the post I wouldn't be surprised, but i also wouldn't be surprised if it did place.
Bet365 is the worst...That filthy each way bet a sure fire way to get your account closed if it wins/placed...
Tread carefully if you value your accounts
