Pity I didn't back Stratum but I had a very profitable Royal Ascot, so all in all not too bothered.

First foal of Langlauf that Bloom also owned. Upped in distance on handicap debut and early money (5/2 to 2/1 on Paddy). Interesting.

Not on the strength of its meh 2yo form it doesn't. Certainly no obvious reason for it to be installed as 13/8 favourite, unless the whispers are it's really kicked on from that form. Find out soon enough eh?
I put it on my tracker, my comments being:

One of Tony Blooms. Two “sympathetic” rides so far. Watch especially when it gets its handicap.

He might wait for a better price but I’m pretty sure it’s a bit better than the bare form suggests.
