Look at me (again) everyone I've posted something controversial yet again so I can attention seek

Spot on. It's a shame when idiots start a thread like this they have the main post at the top even though the normal people on here all post to disagree...

Not Bloom's fault that things weren't working on the pitch

Tony Bloom is not a disgrace. I agree with the fact Slade wasn't given enough time as I believe he could have turned it around.

However, football is a results business, and as much as I liked Slade, we are close to moving into a 97 million pound stadium, anything other then a promotion chasing league one side is disastrous.

Thanks for the stadium money, Tony, but ON the pitch (which is what we really care about) you've just f***ed up your first major test. You're a JOKE. Welcome to the club of idiotic football chairmen. It's a shame because I had hoped you were a bit better than that.

I think Bloom has planted his flag of intention firmly in the ground, He clearly wants the Albion to succeed and is prepared to make difficult decisions to protect his investment and our future. We cannot afford to go down or get involved in a relegation dogfight as we are too good to go down just does not cut the ice anymore. This is a positive move by Bloom in the intrest of success and falmer. No one wants to see someone loose there job and bloom, like me and many here even you wanted Slade to do well, but he did not & we need to move forward .................We all love the club and disagree on things, but Bloom is no more a disgrace as you are no more a complete Todger !! :lolol::thumbsup:

Bloom is a disgrace because he hasn't given Russell anywhere close to enough time. It IS black and white. He's a HERO for the stadium and, on the evidence so far, a JOKE on the football side. Shocking decision and one I don't see the need to find middle ground over. It's not like the fans were even calling for Russell to go!

But its Red-Top stuff Badger, and I know you're better than that.

Slade was not Blooms appointment, so there was always a danger of this. As I said before, I WOULD have given Slade until the turn of the year at least, because I don't think there's a hell of a lot wrong with how we are playing. Individual errors and a constantly changing back 4 (which is not ALL Slades fault) are the key factors in why we are where we are. But I'm not paying the wages there, and perhaps Bloom is going to pull a rabbit out the hat with a major appointment.

I'd have given him longer, but I can also see why TB has acted now. I might not agree, but that doesn't make Bloom a mental retard in my book, even if it does in yours.

can't help but agree. Of course we have to appreciate what Bloom has done with the stadium but to sack slade now is a DISGRACE. What did people expect this season? me, mid-table, so about 4 more points than what we have got. Considering the amount of players that have come in/gone out it was always going to take a bit of time. I really think Bloom as f***ed up here, and what is more annoying is that when we end up finishing mid-table (which we would have anyway IMHO) everyone will say the decision was justified.

Slade deserved better than this. But as usual the fickle football fans win. How long are people gonna give the next manager? 5? 10? 15 games? It's embarrassing.

You are out of order! Tony Bloom has done exactly what he had to do in the best interests of the Club. Slade was not up to the job and should go back to teaching.

Personally I dont give a monkeys who the manager is,I support Brighton & Hove Albion not Russell Slade,Mickey Adams or whoever. If we're not getting results we have to get rid of the man in charge,I know people think he should've been given time but with Falmer on the horizon that was never going to happen. We have GOT to be up there challenging & whoever replaces Slade must make sure we are.

To me, huge investment aside, this has proved that we have a chairman who is serious about taking this club on to bigger and better things no matter what the cost.

Lets not forget that that this is a business and behind every successful business there is a chairman who will stop at nothing to get where he wants no matter how ruthless the decision.

Pussy footing around will get us nowhere and I think that Tony Bloom has just proved he is no pussy.

That makes me glad to have someone like him in charge as this gives us every chance of reaching the target which has been set.

Yes, I am gutted that Slade has gone. I do think its a shame but emotions aside, its the right decision.

loosing 7-1 to Huddersfield, :shootself
loosing 2-0 to Tranmere, :shootself
winning just two games at home so far this season. :shootself
Amassing an amazing 14pts in 15 games. :shootself
poor discipline throughout the team. :shootself

Thats all EMBARRASSING dont you think, because i do. :shootself

He was lucky to keep us up it was NO great escape, it was luck & Owuso

Bloom is ONLY a disgrace for NOT sacking Slade earlier in the season.
Should of gone at least a month ago.

For the blind who wanted to keep Slade on & have stated that he would, is turning things around

- You are a Disgrace!!

No evidence of this happening at all & clearly you do not want anything better from BHA than a relegation scrap
