So I take it if true Dick Knight will still be on the board as he has the most shares (28% /) or will he sell those shares??

Being a shareholder doesn't necessarily mean you sit on the board, probably depends on the circumstances of how he's leaving, jumping or pushed.

He is into Re-assurance and I am told is worth in excess of £100m cash disregarding his property etc. I am also told that he is more into his race horses than becoming chairman of BHA.

Sunday Times estimated his family worth as £80 million in 2005 I think. I am sure this had to be split two or three ways though as he had a number of brothers (he is the oldest). He was the highest paid peron in the city of London in the 90's but those days are long gone. I believe the company has made losses recently.
