Meanwhile in the East Stand the Tsunami of fizzy drinks spreading down the steps from kids knocking over their lidless bottles is in danger of drowning people.

Yes, it sort of begs the question that if there were a transfer market for owners, how much would TB be worth?
More than he really is I reckon and a lot more if we were allowed bottle tops.

Whereas that strange dickhead Todd from Chelsea would be worth the best part of bugger all by now, who would want him?

It gets worse. I've heard that Bloom thinks Mark Farrington was harshly judged and his favourite show is Mrs Brown's Boys:mad:

town full of eejits
stayed in a funky little hotel in perth last night , i was wearing my stand or fall t-shirt whilst checking in , the desk chappie was from Ecuador as were a number of the room crew and kitchen crew apparently he said 6 ecuadorians worked there at week ends , we checked in and his parting words were "viva la seagulls" even though he confessed to being a Real Madrid fan. This morning at breakfast one of the chefs gave me the thumbsup and shouted out "viva la seagulls" i didn't know the score at that stage as i'd been, let's say , busy.

my point is there is a lot of love out there for the club as a result of our recruitment , someone said elsewhere that Argentinian fans are developing a soft spot for The Albion and the Japanese bloody love us , it's a bloody fantastic time to be a Brighton fan...

I'm still having a little chuckle over this so might as well share.

A colleague is oddly fascinated by The Lizard - he loves the nickname.
Obviously I feed him all the Lizard based news.

Yesterday I was asked:-

'would The Lizard sell?'
'probably not, it's certainly not in the plan'.
'but what if middle east mega money was offered?'
'well for lots of reasons I think that's even less likely'.
'so what is the plan?'
'Tony'
'The Lizard'.
'Yes, Tony has always said his son would inherit the club'.
"what's his name...

...The Gekko?"

Alternative ending...

Interviewer: "So. Tony 'The Lizard' Bloom. What's the plan? Who will inherit the club?"
TB: "My son, Tiny Bloom"
Interviewer: "Why do you call him Tiny"?
TB: "Because he's my newt"
