I think we will have to win 8 points for the title (if we draw v saints), 5 for promotion.

Sheff Wed - 1
Dagenham - 3
Walsall - 1
Soton - 1
Colchester - 1
Huddersfield - 0
County - 3

94 points :)

That is the worst case scenario hardly likely for a team that has current form of won 7 drawn 1 is it ?

Off topic, but does anyone know where the expression "kettle of fish" comes from?

The original phrase Kettle of Fish was generally used to describe a muddle or awkward situation - not a kettle in the cup of tea sense. A fine kettle of fish.

A different kettle of fish has a seperate meaning. It is simply 'a different state of affairs' - a cousin to the original meaning as it were.

tough games for them all this weekend .. Wednesday beat a very poor Tranmere side tonight .. we'll stuff 'em and be promoted after the Daggers game and will be Champions at Walsall .. been looking that way for 2/3 weeks now

The thing is that it would take a complete catelogue of disastrous results for us, and record breaking winning runs by the others for us not to finnish top.

Please trust in Gus and Tanno. We've always bounced back from bad results with winning runs. We are not suddenly going to lose to most of Sheff Wed, Daggers, Walsall, SCC, Colchester, Huddersfield and Nottingham in the space of a few games.

We can win the league with relegation form from now on in, and probably already pretty much have enough points for top 2 anyway, even if we didn't play again this season...

It is a sign of ours expectation level (and Gus' too judging by his post match comments) that Saturday's result is seen as a bad result. We were always going to drop points somewhere and Rochdale are the form team in the league.
