we are 6 points clear of Bournemouth with 2 games in hand going in to Saturday's game.
Bournemouth didn't seem to have been adversely affected tonight - lots of shots on target by both sides and "only the heroics of the 2 keepers maintained the stalemate"

Crawley are in fine form and looking at the table as it stands they should romp home.

Which I interpret as "defensively frail and relying on their goalkeeper". Bring it on!

So if we win our two games in hand - assuming all other results remain consistent, which is highly unlikely - we would be ten points clear of third!

This is pure fantasy, but by multiplying the average points per game for a team by the number of games they have in hand to give them a total of 25 games each, the table looks like this:

1 Brighton 50
2 Southampton 43
3 Huddersfield 42
4 Bournemouth 40
5 Peterborough 39
6 Colchester 39
7 Charlton 38
8 Oldham 38
9 Sheff Wed 37
10 MK Dons 36
11 Hartlepool 36
12 Carlisle 35
13 Rochdale 34
14 Notts County 34
15 Brentford 33
16 Exeter 32
17 Leyton Orient 32
18 Plymouth 32
19 Swindon 29
20 Tranmere 28
21 Yeovil 28
22 Bristol R 25
23 Dag & Red 23
24 Walsall 20

Let's hope so

But it could also mean they are on form with the best home record in the league P12 W9 D1 L2 F31 A10

Should be a cracking game with the pressure on them to attack which plays into our hands. I fancy us to win 3-1 or 3-2

Ahem - we have the same number of points at home, have not lost (Bmuff's two defeats in their last six home games) and have concede one goal less. Bmuff have the second best home record in the league!

Bmuff lastsix home games, w4 d0 l2
Albion w4 d2 l0

Not meaning to diss you TR, but the BBC website reckons bmuff had 61% possesion, away from home.

No diss taken. I was ourely basing my comment on the severnside quote which said "only the heroics of the 2 keepers maintained the stalemate". So assumed bioth keepers performed heroics - and not that Rochdale used two keepers :p

You are spot on. Both keepers were required to make a number of saves - it was pretty open according to the beeb.

I take your point about relative home records. Ours is the best but they score more goals. I hadn't picked up that their home form has faltered recently which makes me even more confident that we can upset them on Saturday :)
