against the Sharks. They have 10 of the SA squad but I'm not sure that more than a couple are playing.

We'll get a better idea of how strong this Lions side is after tonight's game. Strong Lions side playing

Not confident we are gonna win this one?

Whaddy reckon fellow rugger buggers?

I'm not convinced we'll win... I really hope so though.

Not so familiar with the players as I should be, but line-outs and scrummage has been very secure from what I've seen. Not the test team by any means I would have thought, but stronger than than what we put out in the last game. Should be a good test.

Good first half, retained posession well but only one try. Amazing defence from Sharks

To be frank i really don't care. The Lions are nearly all foreign and I can't get excited by them. I'm more interested in how the rest of the England team get on in their matches.

Final Score: 39 - 3 to The Lions. Sounded very promising on the radio & I'm starting to have a bit of confidence for the impending 1st Test (surprisingly).

Good performance I thought, against a side who defended ferociously. I have a bit of cautious optimism.

Sharks were massively understrength so I wouldn't read too much into the performance. Always good to maintain winning momentum though. I still think that we will get dominated by the Boks in the Tests.

Very good performance especially Mike Phillips. O'Gara was the only poor performance really i think Jones has to be favourite to start first test

Couragious defending from the Sharks but I am worried about the predictability of the Lions forward play at times. The retention was at best average and it resulted in very slow ball and that is going to be easy for the Boks to defend against. O`Gara did not do enough for me and Phillips though having a pretty good game still needs to move that ball quicker after those rucks. (reminds me of Terry Holmes when he picks up and goes) We need to play a very very fast game if we are to get anything from the tests. Another smashing game from Mears though.

Just wartched the game and overall was a good performance. Need to get the breakdown sorted which should in turn get the penalty count down
