Away win and a clean sheet
Professional performance & perfect result for the boss.

Hope he allows himself a little celebratory drink tonight.

I should imagine he is completely overdoing the celebrations and has very probably unfastened his top button and loosened his tie a little.

Nutter.

50% win record - that's got to be one of the highest win ratios of all time?

Especially as the early games included the mess he inherited from Sami.

Was surprised to read that we are the only club he has managed for 100 games.
As per earlier message, his record is even better when you exclude the Hyppia season.

50% win record - that's got to be one of the highest win ratios of all time?

His win ratio at Newcastle was about 55% (all games rather than just league games which the 100 games 50% win ratio represents in his Albion career)

His full record (including cup and play off games 55 wins from 112 games) has him with a still very impressive 49% win ratio.

I will admit very surprised when Houghton appointed given the club mantra seemed Head Coach, perhaps we should be more grateful for what Hyppia did or didn't do so to speak.

What an appointment it has turned out for us.

Just had a look at some of villatalk's depressing threads about their manager/league situation and Steve Bruce (most posters are against him).

Hughton and Wagner get praised as managers they'd love to replace Bruce with.

But their hopes are then doused, with other replying that neither would go to Aston Villa due to the contrasting state of their clubs versus AV.

I couldn't envisage CH doing a Pardew pratt party dance ever, mainly he's cool, calm and collected and it'll give those croydon cruds something to troll about.
Oh yes we did win today
