I wonder if the op has ever been a ref?? My guess is no? I have, as well as running the line (all at youth level) - ever since my respect for them has risen massively. An almost impossible job. Having said all that I still moan at matches when decisions go against us!!

He's in charge of tonights Chelsea Liverpool tie and doing a good job. Interestingly let a hand ball in the box go as he did twice at the Amex, consistent. I think Jose may have things to say though later. Great game though helped by a good ref letting play go on.
