How much would they want for him?

Played 60-odd times in the Championship for us, Hull and Derby, and gone through the agegroups for England, 21 now. I reckon around £15-£20m in todays market, probably with some sell-on clauses.

Didn't be drop a howler on debut and get dog's abuse on here before a few solid performances resulting him being described as a legend?

It takes some of our permanent signings months to do that.

Absolutely right, he did ok when he was with us, but only played a few games, and difficult to tell what someone is going to be like just based on those.

Had en excellent game last night thoug, and benefitting l think, from getting an extended run playing for the same team. Loan moves aren't the way forward for him, he needs to get away from Chelsea, and then perhaps the Premier League beckons.

Tomori is proving to be a decent Championship centre back. That's what he looked when we had him on loan and that's what he is now. No room for him at The Amex now, so not sure why anybody is suggesting we would want him now?

because he is 21 and is improving each year....he looks composed and controlled and mobile.

He had a pretty good game and was excellent one-on-one but still makes lots of mistakes. For example, the 4v2 which ended with Redmond blasting straight at the keeper with three players to his left waiting for a tap in was caused directly by Tomori stepping out of defence, losing the ball and leaving a huge gap behind him.

He has the skills and seems calm but tactically he has a long way to go so working with a good defensive coach like CH would be very good for him.

Yes, but whilst he may be improving, he wouldn't improve our squad. We have moved on now, hence why we signed Burn. Cheap and unlikely to play more than a handful of games - that's what we needed.. No room for a 21 year old who needs to play every week now like Tomori.

Like him a lot but why pay 15-20 million when Barclay and White look real prospects. Would love to see our younger players on loan at championship clubs when time is right.

Dunk was on loan at Bristol City at the same age.

No, Tomori could never improve at the age of 21

I would love Tomori back if we ever lost Dunk or Duffy. And I would be happy to pay around 12-15 for him.

Fair play to you fella - I'm sure TB will be pleased to see someone else putting their hands in their pockets for a few million to support the cause for a change.

Very talented player. Came to us more as a back up for Bruno, didn’t he? It was only after the discovery that Goldson needed a heart op and then Duffy’s injury within the space of about 4 weeks that his versatility and talent as a centre half really became valuable. I remember how assured he looked after replacing Dunk, who had the shits, at half time of that massive win at QPR on a Friday night.

Indeed, as l remember he was touted as a right back who couild also play in central defence rather than a centre half first and foremost.
