Having a laugh
I'm really glad that you're satisfied with the situation. I'm not. We both have our opinions and are entitled to them.Jeez, can you please stop this wall-to-wall whining. It’s doing my bloody head in. This transfer, if it happens, is great news.
The Mail article says they want a loan with an obligation to buy in the event they're promotedThe thing is, the only way Adingra goes the other way is by loan.
So why would we do that when we could just loan them Watson himself until the end of the season?
Because Adingra is considerably better, currently, than Watson. Sunderland are committing serious money to their promotion push. The thing is, the only way Adingra goes the other way is by loan.

Alternatively, it's the Daily Mail and a complete load of tosh.Without being too fatalistic, I think if we’re looking at trading an international starter and cup winner who has regularly contributed to the first team for an 18 year old in the championship, then, regardless of his undoubted potential, we can write off any delusions of European qualification as a priority for the club.
If the club have decided that the strategy is to trade and stay in the PL to turn over a profit then that’s fine, but you can’t compete with the top 8 if that’s it.
At 18, just been injured, 18 months left on contract etc. This one looks to be happening.
A very worrying Sunderland transfer update as Brighton push for Tommy Watson on deadline day

At the same time, why on earth would you allow this as Adingra? Saw a report that seven European clubs (inc. Marseille where he'd undoubtedly be an important piece of RDZ's puzzle, as well as Lens and RB Leipzig) have contacted the Albion about a move this January, with a confirmed bid of £20m from Marseille.
Why would you choose Sunderland, to facilitate a move that at best, leaves you in a Premier League relegation battle next season when that interest is concrete and on the table?
Unless it’s a loan. That might be possible but would still be concerning.Watson for Sarmiento I could countenance, Watson for Adingra is taking the piss.
Can’t see how any of that improves us in the slightest.I’d say do the deal and you can have Adingra until the end of the season. Tell Adingra he is taking Mitoma’s place next season. Sell Mitoma for £75 million to the Saudis in the Summer. Tell Watson he is the new Adingra.
Win/Win/Win.
Can’t see how any of that improves us in the slightest.
Unproven at top level, so could be another Norman. Better than Gruda?Watson would be one for the future.
Because it’s right to allow Mitoma to go and make his money (assuming he wants to). Mitoma is currently blocking Adingra’s development, so it gives Adingra the opportunity to fulfill his potential, and it gets the deal done to bring in the next exciting young winger on the production line, who will eventually replace Adingra in the first team when we sell him for big money. Can’t see how any of that improves us in the slightest.
