Tommy Fraser SCORED a freekick! And atleast one of his assists was from a CORNER! Why has suddenly decided to work on them now he's left us?! Port Vale fans think he's a gem would you believe, they're on the fence about Doug Loft it seems, but they love Fraser!

Apparently, Fraser's goal was knocked in by Marc Richards. No question it was his corner which led to number 3 though, and Doug Loft played a "defence splitting" pass for the first. Micky's been playing a 5-3-1-1 with Fraser and Loft in the centre of the midfield playing from deeper with a couple of players playing ahead of them.

Having spent about an hour on their board this morning, they genuinely do think he's a quality player! They love his spirit and his attitude, apparently he screamed at their goalkeeper for being too slow with distribution on the opening day! They love the guy, and they're amazed at how fit Doug Loft is. They're impressed by both, and they would like some more of our cast offs!

Even more suprising, they love Micky Adams and think he's a tactical genius! He's reverted to 5-3-2 there, and it's working very well. 4-0 win yesterday, AND they missed a penalty!
