I think everything from his talent to his attitude is exceptional. Definately deserves a chance on Wednesday to cement a place in the starting 11

A run in the team is long overdue for Tommy.

Has a superb attitude and is a very tidy player who is always hungry for the ball and has good energy levels.

Agree with the 'future Brighton captain' tag.

Not saying he is 100% the answer, and I'm not sure anyone else has said that either.

But do we really keep starting the same eleven when they are playing like this?

I think Fraser did enough on Saturday to earn a starting place, isn't that the way it's meant to work at a football club?

In theory you earn the shirt, however we seem to have to play Virgo, Thomson should be playing the holding role, as should Fraser if he plays, so until we replace Hammond, whoever comes into that midfield is going to struggle, as we do not have any naturally attacking midfielders in the squad.

Anyway carry on.

Fraser nearly lost us a second goal with his 2nd "pass" of the game on Saturday. His first almost set up a decent chance, but after that what exactly did he do other than get the ball in a deserted central midfield position and pass it out wide. We need someone who can run with it, pick a killer through ball and look to try something different. Fraser will just do the simple and then run round like a headless chicken while the opposition play it past him with ease. I don't feel he can offer ANYTHING of any benefit to what we have already playing.

Can't fault his effort but lacks any quality to make it even at League 1 standard.

Uncle Buck is spot on. In some ways it does not matter who plays in the holding position until we find someone capable of playing alongside them in a more attacking role.

I would be inclined to give Fraser a go though. Although it won't drastically improve our fortunes I don't think he would do any worse and at least takes the ball off the back four meaning they wouldn't have to lump it so much.

Believe me you would notice it if Thompson wasnt there !!!! the amount of work that he gets thru that goes unnoticed is immense.

That said we do need a creative spark in the middle at the mo & Thompson does the 'water carrier' bit well but hyasnt been creative

no, Thomson is just crap

Not sure he is better than Thompson , two similar players who can pass the ball sideways and break up the opposition's midfield, but neither are what we need now, i.e. someone with that creative flair we all dream about.

So either Thompson or Fraser for me, not both

Should be Loft and Livermore in the middle in my opinion.

If it's a case of Fraser or Thomson, then yes he does deserve a chance.

Clearly I am in the minority - not for the first time, and I would concede that Fraser was not the worst on Saturday.

But to suggest this bloke has "talent" is like saying El Abd has a great first touch or that Coxy is always a threat in the air.

No surprise to me that Lewes asked for the Ginger Prince on loan and not the Ginger kid.

OK. Go ahead. Slate me :shootself
