I have not seen the clip but he had a heart attack on stage didn't he which is hardly likely to be anything other than gruesome and I cannot see the point in posting it.

Out of curiosity had to see it, but gut wrenching and very sad.

its seems so surreal that 30 seconds before collapsing he looks fine and is laughing

God bless his soul !

I remember seeing it live on TV

Les Denis and Dustin Gee had to come onstage afterwards and were visibly shaken, not surprisingly

The old theatrical saying came into force...

'The show must go on...'

RIP TC

Watched it live on TV, remember thinking it was a bit of a crap way to finish a set.
It was a good 15 mins or so later that it was announced he had died- I felt quite bad really.
A hero, classic being 'have a drink on me' as he stuffs something in your top pocket, only to find later, it's a tea bag.

I hadn't seen that for 25 years.

Well, if you're gonna go, why not go like that.

I don't know why I chose to watch it, but I did. Probably out of curiosity of a moment I have heard so much about from people over the years.

It's horrible to watch, and I'm never clicking on anything like that again. They should take stuff like that down on YouTube. :nono:

From a few of his biographies it sounds like his off stage personality was a bit different to the lovable clown he portrayed on screen. He was supposed to be notoriously mean, hit the sauce later on and was a wife beater. Similar in fact to a lot of comedians like Tony Hancock, Kenneth Williams etc - fine line between comedy and tragedy and all that.

I saw it live, when it happened, I certainly would not want to see the demise of Tommy, or indeed anyone else on Youtube.

It was horrible at the time, he died " Just like that".....
