[Albion] Tomer Hemed article - 'made a mistake...staying at Brighton'

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
The club don’t make many cock ups these days but giving Baldock a new contract in the summer after his injuries of the last couple of seasons, and his inability to get any proper game time this season, is one of them.

You can blame the doctors for that. Baldock had surgery to treat his persistent calf injury, which didn't work.

Love him. He’s a really good player on his day, but sadly I think he’s a victim of our success.

Wish him the best for the future if he moves on.

Really good player but when he arrived he was slow enough but looks to have lost some of that pace!

Never ever been so confident of a converted penalty as when Tomer steps up from 12 yards (ok I know he’s missed one). Love his style

He is a mystery player IMO. He's built like a brick shithouse, tons of bravery but hopelessly underpowered for a big lad.

He is capable of the odd flukey goal but too often outclassed and pedestrian. I make him right about being a championship specialist.

Locadia is twice the prospect. Similar build and combatitiveness but doesn't hesitate like Tomer.

I wish him well but he isn't the future with us in the PL. No siree.

Funny how the door was open for him, in the side and scoring goals, then the ban, and Murray steps up. Even if we don't make Ulloa a permanent signing Hemed, would at best be third choice for next season without others coming in.

When he moves on, I'm sure he will be remembered well, and always welcomed back

I suspect Locadia will jump up the queue next season and Glenn will be 2nd choice.
Having said that Tomer has been a great member of our squad and I wish him all the very best at his next club.
Great pro and made a big contribution to our last couple of championship seasons
