Tomasz Kuszczak is keen to open new contract talks with Albion.
The Polish goalkeeper’s two-year deal runs out at the end of the season.
He has established himself as No. 1 since signing from Manchester United and the 31-year-old is eager to stretch his stay with the Seagulls.
Kuszczak revealed to The Argus: “Nobody has talked to me about that yet.
“I am fully open and if the club decide to talk to me about a new contract I am most happy to do that.
“I am happy in Brighton. I love the club, the stadium, everything that happens around it. I want to be part of it.
“The life is beautiful too. It’s a great place to live for my family and all of these aspects are telling me to stay longer here.
“But it’s not in my power and I will wait.”

I'd be delighted if he were to stay with us, but i totally understand that he wants to play at the highest level and he's probably got one big contract left - if that's with a premier league team (probably one struggling or newly promoted) then good luck to him.

Cech will be available next season when Courtois returns to Chelsea. Can I be the first to chuck in this unrealistic & unachievable name into the hat? NSC rules say that someone now has to say that he's shit and not good enough for us.
I see this a positive negative really. He is a great keeper and probably the best I have seen at the club BUT he is replaceable and I cannot see us not getting in a replacement just as good if not better. Whilst he is a commanding shot stopper, his kicking and distribution is average. If he doesn't want to stay lets move him on. I know Stephen Henderson was being considered.

TK is on a heap of money and slowly declining imo, distribution is abysmal and I cant see any team in the Prem dumping their current keeper for him (though that clown in goal for Southampton needs replacing)
I have a feeling the club feel the money could be better spent elsewhere unless TK wants to take a big pay cut. I dont know why he thinks he's good enough for the Prem, he's made more starts for us than he did for WBA and Utd put together.
He's found his level imo.
As for the clean sheet record, thats down to how the team sets up without the ball making it hard for the opposition to get close enough to test him.

Murphy controlled the ball with his arm when the cross from Smith was lobbed in , PIG was in the correct position to block the attempt before the trajectory of the ball completely changed. Whilst he has made some spectacular saves to keep us in games since joining us he seems to have gone off the boil in the last 3 months. It could be that he signed for us as an initial 2 year project when Gus sold him the dream of playing in the Premier League.
