You claim to live in Birmingham and deny Corbyn's version of Labour are not courting the Moslem vote?Your post does nothing to contradict that at all,and you have just come out with a load of meaningless drivel learned from Socialist Worker:))) sandwich boards. If you want proof, there are plenty of Jewish newspapers for you to read it in.As for the countries you listed in your other post, they are all in alliances with nuclear powers.

Yes I do live in Birmingham. Well, just outside actually. Thanks for noticing. And yes I do deny it. You see I don't subscribe to ‘muslem’ conspiracy theories because I’m not a ****ing idiot.

It could be pretty frightening to see how many deluded hard left supporters there are on this board, but thankfully NSC is not representative of the whole country.
Glad to hear on a newspaper review on the telly this morning that a dozen or so moderate Labour MP's have been having 'secret squirrel' meetings in a Sussex farmhouse to discuss combating Corbyn and Momentum...........and about time too.

Really? Do you actually know what 'hard left' means? It doesn't mean beards, not calling gay men 'poofs' and Asins 'pakis', and not liking Trump and Brexit.

It means compulsory nationalization of the means of production (i.e., everything - rail, electricity, gas, post, television, petrol, farming.....only half of these are on Corbyn's list - albeit that's way too much for me), salary caps, 'free' health care, 'free' eduction (including university), large increases in state pensions, the ludicrous graduated tax whereby if you earn 10K, say, you pay 1% (£100) and if you earm 100K you pay 10% (£10,000) - the idiot's tax system. It also means a pathetic nostalgic affection for the Soviet Union and the socialist liberation armies known as the IRA and PLO and Shining Path. Theme tune: The Internationale.

It has nothing to do with freedom of religion for racist Islamists and other god bothering loonies (that's 'liberalism').

Not seen much if any of that old bollocks on NSC. Please point me to the hundreds of posts if you want to substantiate your wild assertion. Enrest doesn't count (he's a tory troll taking the piss).

On the other hand the amount of sad old right wing bollocks on NSC is pitiful to behold. Pitiful.

So please spare us your fake news. NSC is not full of Hard Left opinion. Not at all.

Disciplinary action against Margaret Hodge has been dropped.

Corbyn is such a great conviction politician. His convictions vary on a daily basis. Apprently a couple of years ago he was convinced he could lead the labour party.

To be fair, I have been quite cross about various things in UK politics over the last 50 years. But nothing makes me as cross as the unbroken sequence of spectacular own goals scored by the labour party just before and during the 'reign' of 'Jezza the Unready'. If Angelina Jolie popped round just as I was about to iron my long johns I would still be less tragically unready than Jezza is to run the country. Even a dullard would do. Even Milliband. So... so sad.

It never fails to amaze me how parties manage to balls it up for themselves.
Power is what they all want not opposition yet somehow due to infighting they manage to rock the boat.
You would have thought they would just keep their heads down and get in against an awful government.
And when they get there they manage to, before long, screw it up.
I am talking about both sides, but as the thread is about Labour they must be really stupid to mess up a great chance of getting in that will probably give us more of the worst government I have known for a very long time.

Totally agree with you.

And what really gets me is that politicians are usually intelligent well educated people.

To think there are elected politicians who think that Corbyn or Rees-Mogg would be good leaders for the country defies belief.

Harsh reply Harry, and in my opinion, about as over the top as you believe my 'fake news' post was.
I believe that Corbyn, McDonnell etc. and Momentum represent what most of us moderates would consider to be hard left , whatever you state.
Sorry mate, but I do believe there a quite a number of posters on NSC, who are Corbyn supporters and hence, what I would call hard left ,as opposed to what most of us would like to see in a Labour party and that is a centre left party.
Can't agree with your sad old right wing bollocks statement. Yes, there are a small number of fruit loops of that persuasion, but possibly, you are as guilty of 'fake news ' as you believe I am.
Anyway, we shall have to agree to disagree and I shall continue to enjoy most of your posts!:):)

Ouch. Apologies for that. Yes, over the top it was. If you define Corbyn support as 'hard left' you're right (I tend to regard them as simply a bit soppy, or teenage ignorant 'oh Jeremy Corbyn' types rather than sinister old communists like he almost is). And I must admit that just becuase people don't state their preference for all the loony left things I listed doesn't mean they don't hanker for them (any more than the right wing zealots on here don't hanker for 'repatriation' of 'foreigners' even if they don't actually say so). So, yes, that was a bit unfair and I retract it.

No hard feelings, Harry.
Have a good holiday and I hope this isn't the end of the summer heatwave!:)
