(What a name) I know that we have made an enquiry about him to come down on loan.

He is an Arsenal left back aged 19.

But Tom Cruise said he wants first team action and Gus can't promise it so i'm guessing he would be more of a back up to Painter.

I wouldn't say so. He probably sent McNulty on loan because he thinks he is not what we need/ not good enough at the moment, but it would be stupid to have no cover at left back. What would we do if Painter got injured?

Fair point. I didn't really explain myself too well. Not good enough to be first choice for us is what I meant. That, combined with his desire to play first-team football, led to him being loaned out.

I still think we need cover, though.
