I take it you saw it? Christ, imagine being a manager as he just stands there waiting, and waiting. You'd be screaming and pulling your hair out.

We should be targeting at least 4 points off Chelsea this season, there for the taking with our new style of play.

Chelsea playing the Newcastle trick of leaving hard anyone back, those that are, near the half way line.

So incredibly dim against a big club with home advantage, who play on the counter. Trips to OT, Anfield, WHL, Etihad, require sitting deeper to deny space in behind.

Chelsea were propped up by the brilliant Hazard for seasons.

Nice to see Daniel James score today. A Graham Pottergé.
That's a tough call he was up against Zouma, he's no Lewis Dunk...

...Duffy...

... Burn... ...Webster...

...Clarke... ...White...

Yep - it almost seemed like they were always looking for him to give him the ball today.

Except he wasn’t there.....

Oh, dear...
This was Chelsea’s heaviest ever opening-day league defeat in what is their 104th league season
Frank Lampard suffered the heaviest defeat by a Chelsea manager in his first match in charge since Danny Blanchflower lost 7-2 to Middlesbrough in December 1978
This was Lampard's heaviest defeat in the Premier League since he featured for the full 90 minutes in West Ham United’s 1-7 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford in April 2000
The last manager before Lampard to lose by four or more goals in his first Premier League match in charge was Gustavo Poyet in October 2013 (Swansea City 4-0 Sunderland)

Only two teams to fear. Liverpool and City. Looks like we will have to go for third place this year. Although disappointing will have to do.
