Todays pie.

First and last moan ever,thought i would try a pie today,not again!!!,

no question it contains real meat,but very dry,pastry tough and too many herbs running through it.
Wont be buying one again.

Well I opted for the hot dog today and to be honest the bun was thicker than a palace fan. However, its back to the pies for me.

I've tried them all now. Had the steak one yesterday and it was delicious.

Now I can safely state that the chicken ones are the best, well for me anyway.

I wouldn't have thought it was possible to get so much chicken in one pie.

They just wrap the pastry around the chicken!

Agh! The legendary pies. Have only made it down to Donny thus far and the pies had been cleaned out by the time I got to the counter. Am still waiting to break my Amex pie cherry.

Had Steak & Ale on day one and it was so good I can't bring myself to change (plus sticking with routine since we're unbeaten). Will try the chicken at some point but for now cannot see a reason to move from Steak - stuffed with meat, beautifully cooked. Totally part of The Amex experience.

The solution is simple. Have a Steak and Ale pre-match and a Chicken and Ham with your post match pint.

Don't you just love the smell of pies wafting round the stands?
