Can't quite understand why Steele isn't 'ready', I mean, a goalkeeper doesn't have to do a lot does he?

He does for us but seriously perhaps it is an ankle or hand injury that curtails his movement.

Andone and Steele aren’t “ready” because they are both recovering from “minor” injuries they’ve picked up since joining.

I must have misunderstood as I thought all of the World Cup players were back and it was intended to put them in for game time eg Balogun and Ryan so would assume Izzy also.

Izquierdo is only back today, as he got further than the others at the World Cup, so unlikely to play tonight I would think

He was watching the Portsmouth game, but I assume going straight into tonight's game is a little soon. He'll get his pre-season assessment first and then his plan will be drawn up.

Nah, Baldock was well-meaning and worked hard. Not sure Locadia is going to be able to earn this particular crown.

Indeed, featuring more, and faring better than Locadia in fact. Many on here seem to be writing him off, the club certainly don't seem to be though.
