This one always fascinated and impressed me. It's obviously evocative of Jimi's afro hair, but the idea of that pose and with the sky as a canvas/backdrop, it's a beautiful image.
It is of course, The Cry Of Love, which was the final recordings from Hendrix that were lovingly put together by Eddie Kramer his engineer and Mitch Mitchell his drummer. Everything about that album just shines out like a beacon, for the care they had for Jimi, and the amazing brilliance of his playing.
