Great thread, just a couple for me:
Patagonia - I do a lot of mountain hiking, and their waterproof shells are very reliable, put a sweater beneath it and it is my winter coat. I have had two in the last 15 years and second is like new.
Icebreaker - cannot wear any other base layer anymore. Their quality has gone downhill a bit as they grew, but it is the only shirt I can work out in and not smell like a gym locker.
Apple: so many things to complain about, but it connects the family effortlessly

Agreed, Gucci do not make watches, nor Mercedes make aftershave. I have one exception though, Mont Blanc Traveller Eau de Parfum.
Heinz won't buy it nowadays then moan like f*** nothing else is as good. I'm going to get some later i can't take anymore :dunky:

I used to be a big John Lewis fan boy. Since they’ve set about destroying the value of the brand (eg ‘yes, of course we’ll give you a full refund even though you don’t have the receipt, because we trust you’ has gone; plus many others), not so much.

Yep, and this helps too (easy enough to do when already a billionaire I guess, but I suspect most would be tempted to sell up / sell out for even more)

Apart from the obvious, I don't have lots of brand-loyalty, but a couple ones are:
  • Parmigiano Reggiano®
  • Decathlon for sport clothing and practical jackets
  • OVS for casual clothing
  • Le Conserve della Nonna and Selezione Più for jams

I should have put VA on my list. Although we do occasionally fly with other carriers, Virgin are always where I look first. We've collected miles (now points) for a long time and have used them to good effect, in largely avoiding being in the cheap seats for cross-Atlantic flights.

In related news, I'm not sure why it took them so long, but it's great that they finally have a reward seat availability checker on their site.

Agreed generally, except Apple Tango which is increasingly rare now anyway.
Do they still make it? The real stuff that is? I bought a 2L bottle as I saw it in the supermarket a few months back as I used to love it. Got it home and had a glass, it was revolting!! Then I noticed it was sugar free version. Whatever the sweetner they use instead has made it undrinkable IMO. I tipped it all down the drain.

Just had a look in the local Morrisons and even the Orange tango is now sugar free. Sad times.

Whatever is cheapest (or perceived to be best value for money). Must be my Scottish ancestry! I must also be getting old as half the products listed I have never even heard of, let alone bought.

Big fan of Google products.

I've had phones ranging from the Nexus 6p all the way up to the Pixel 6 Pro and they're the best phones I've ever had, can't go wrong.

Also have the Pixel Watch and it's great, only downside really is the battery life.

Around the home we have a few Chromecasts, the Nest Doorbell and cameras, a nest WiFi system, Nest Hub Max and mini.

Works together extremely well rather than having say a ring doorbell.
