I was really fed up during and after the game, but have calmed down now. It was a poor performance, against lower league opposition again. It is difficult to get these sort of cup games right when we want to concentrate on the league. It is a no win situation. Put out your best team and get a couple of injuries and people moan. Put out an under strength team, don't play well and people moan.
I do have a couple of issues though. The finishing recently has been poor. Gus openly says they only train hard for 90 minutes each day. Well I think the strikers should be putting in a bit of additional practice and the penalty taking needs to be addressed. Who is number 1 taker? Decide and stick with it.....and practice!
Finally, Battipedi, Sandaza and Hart just aren't good enough. I'd rather see a few of the kids given a game than these 3.

It worries me that fans need to be on eggshells for fear Gus may throw his toys out of the pram.

The support this year has been very good, especially away from home. Withdean always struggles to create an atmosphere win, lose or draw, but to make veiled threats over a silly few who booed out of frustration is a bit of an insult to the majority who get behind the team.

I for one don't want to live in fear of him leaving just because a few fans voice some discontent. Think that's him being OTT

Have to agree on both counts

dont sit in f***ing H block then!

Cracking response. Banter is fine, but stupid songs like "stand up if you love Glazier" is not banter, its just boring old wank.

I bet you're one of those mongs who spends 90% of the game giving the :tosser: sign to away fans before anythings even happened on the pitch. At times i'd rather have sat in complete silence than listen to some of the dross that was being spouted out.

Rather than moaning about what 'songs' are sung why not start your own and see if others join in?

Its not pathetic wank. Its banter. Stop being so precious.

It is pathetic, simply because there is no wit, no irony, nothing or any creative merit in shouting USA. Tin pot.

As for the booing, I was sat in the family stand and was stunned. Okay, it wasn't great by any means, but silence has as big an impact as booing in my book. It was frustrating, but when you make so many changes it is hard to click into a pattern of play. Seen the bigger clubs do it many times in Carling Cup etc.

Sitting in E block today I began to wonder if people around me were all FCUM fans. Many showed lack of support, lack of applause, lack of anything. Some people only woke up to boo at half and full time.

If you're not happy with being 4 points clear, don't come.

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

I was as upset as anybody at both full and half time but the booing was bang out if order tbh, are we still looking for our first win at home this season? No. Are we struggling in the league? No. Have we got a shit squad of no hopers? No. Sorry, but because we had a shit day in a cup game does not justify booing our TEAM off the pitch. f***ing disgrace every single one of you that booed, get a grip will you. We are no way ever going to win this competition, the LEAGUE is what matters not the FA cup for christs sake. Give the opposition some credit as well, even when they were down to 10 men they still attacked us before and after we equalised, that's what lower league opposition do, that's what we did to villa last season but you didn't hear villa fans moaning they only best us by 1 goal. Sometimes as fans we have pulled together in one direction and I have been proud to be an Albion fan, today the few idiots who decided to boo our team off have made me feel ashamed to have such a bunch of morons in our ranks.

Was in H block as usual, but its getting even more embarrassing in there as each game goes on. The fact that "USA, USA, USA" and "One Malcolm Glazier" were both sung MORE THAN ONCE just shows how twattish and childish are support really is at times.

Tw@ts of the highest order, its because of a person like of glazer we are in that shit hole of a ground at the moment, but these C***s dont understand that!

I didnt bother today , the thing that annoys me most is we have another replay, poyet in my opnion should have gone out to win the game, then pull off the main players if we were in front. However saying that i do love the man we are top of the league, however if the fans pay the money they are entitled to their opnion, not just that but when gus eventually goes, when we are a distant memory to him, those fans who were told to stay home will still be brighton fans. Is it me or is professional football the only career where you can not do your job properly but still expect a pat on the back.
Id like to see his stance on the replay with regards to his team selection if we get chelsea away.

Yes we are top of the league, yes we are 4 points clear and to be fair I've not heard any booing at league games.
Today was the fa cup, we were shit, some fans booed. I didn't boo myself but I saw a few that did and I think it was more frustration than anything else.

Away 'support' has IMHO always been better ....a fair number of those that 'attend' don't support the team....yes thy pay there money so I guess there entitled to ther opinion...but I wudnt call thm supporters...I've yet to c a team motivated by people slagging them off or booing.

Fact ...we r top of the league....fact progressing in the FA Cup doesn't help us get promotion ....so I'd b happy if he did put out a team of reserves in the replay.

In what way does two replays before important league games help the promotion push ?

I can kind of understand people booing at half/full time. What I don't get is the people who booed when the players came out for the second half - that's just beyond idiotic.
